Brooke Valan MA, LAC

Brooke earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Stockton University and a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of New Jersey.
Brooke’s approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), using evidence-based strategies to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building healthy coping skills. Brooke works with children and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, emotion regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, stress, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions.
Brooke values creating strong, trusting relationships with clients and collaborating with families when appropriate to support lasting growth. Brooke’s goal is to help children and adolescents build confidence, resilience, and the skills they need to navigate challenges and thrive both in and outside of the therapeutic space.
