Toriann Clarke MA, LAC

Toriann approaches counseling with the belief that everyone has the ability to change for the better and the ability to define what “better” means to them. With extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, Toriann has been able to employ skills for Person-Centered Therapy, ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), Play Therapy, and a variety of other modalities to better assist the client.

Toriann has assisted with clients along their journeys to manage anger, trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, ODD, and changes in family and relationship dynamics. Toriann’s sessions are centered around self-exploration which can include identifying and understanding the sources of emotions, creating a collection of coping skills to manage symptoms, using play therapy as an outlet to safely revisit traumatic events, creating family genograms to better understand patterns in relationships across generations, and using other expressive modalities to meet clients where they are comfortable.

Toriann received her Bachelor of Arts from La Salle University in Psychology in 2015. She received her Master of Arts from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2019. NJ license # 37AC00521200 NPI # 1992467336
